Semi permanent brows whether it be microblading or ombre brows last around 12-18 months. All patients are different and dependant on their skin type and lifestyle, longevity can be more or less.
Our practitioner will look to manage discomfort as much as possible. You may experience mild discomfort during and immediately following your treatment. The practitioner will use or may use a topical anaesthetic, which numbs the area and helps to reduce the pain associated with the treatment.
During the initial consultation at BEAUT Aesthetics, your practitioner will listen to your treatment expectations and discuss what you wish to achieve. Following an assessment of your treatment needs, your practitioner will recommend whether microblading or ombre brows are best suited.
After a shape and plan has been agreed, and only once you are happy to proceed, you will be asked to read, understand and sign a consent form before the treatment can begin.
Your practitioner will mark up the brows, make sure you are happy with the shape, then apply topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort.
The treatment typically takes around 1-2 hours.
After a treatment some reactions are relatively common, these include; slight redness, swelling, itching, and tenderness. The reactions are generally mild to moderate and usually disappear within 24 hours. Aftercare instructions will be given after treatment.
Your practitioner will go through your medical history throughout your consultation to determine whether it’s safe for you to go ahead with the treatment. Patch tests are required and tested in the consultation to make sure there are no allergies to the pigment used.
